As soon as you jump on the BWS Rawson Surfboard you fell you can conquer any wave. It is a dual purpose platform, as it can be surfed in the classic way or ridden with a kite by waveriding enthusiasts. As a kiteboard, it is extremely agile and feels loose and easy to control in the waves.
The optimal volume distribution, combined with the extra width through the front foot area, assures a superior upwind drive and solid speed in flats. The diamond, pulled in tail generates tight and fast turns, as well as an optimal release. A medium rocker allows you surf straight up and down through steep sections of the wave. It also assures excellent speed and acceleration.
The Ben Wilson Rawson Surfboard packs good power, so it is perfect for intermediate and advanced riders. A thruster fin setup assures a solid drive and extra speed when needed, as well as a good grip. The BWS Rawson Surfboard is built using an EPS Marko foam core complemented by 2x 6oz. deck, 1 x 6oz bottom, both glassed with E-class and epoxy resin layers. This is a very light construction. It is not intended to handle massive jumps and hard landings.
